Was ist Next Culture Performance?
Next Culture Performance ist eine internationale kollektive Kunstbewegung, die für ihre Inszenierungen Unterscheidungen und Landkarten aus dem Possibility Management nutzt und sich forschend und experimentierend im Kontext radikaler Selbstverantwortung bewegt. Zudem geht sie von einer selbstbestimmten Zuschauerschaft aus. Ein Ziel von Next Culture Performance ist die Erfahrung von 5- Körper-Performances zu ermöglichen, indem sie die körperlichen, intellektuellen, emotionalen, energetischen und archetypischen Aspekte des Individuums einbezieht. Die Performer:innen erkunden hierfür ihre eigene Schattenwelt, lassen ihre hellen Prinzipien durch sich wirken, erzählen persönliche Legenden und schaffen dadurch starke, emotionale Erzählungen, die Intimität zwischen Akteur:innen und Rezipient:innen zulassen.

ist das Label für Next Culture Performances. Jeder, der nach den Prinzipien von Next Culture Performance arbeitet, kann das Label “Next Culture Company” verwenden. In wöchentlichen Forschungsräume wird der Kern von Next Culture Performance immer weiterentwickelt. Experimente – sowohl im künstlerischen Bereich als auch im Alltagsgeschehen-, Feedback/Coaching und Austausch sind dafür die Arbeitsgrundlage.
Wir sind die Next Culture Company
Wir möchte mit unseren künstlerischen Arbeiten Barrieren im Denken, in der Kommunikation und im Miteinander abbauen und stabile Brücken für ein sinnstiftendes und erfüllendes Zusammenleben aufbauen. Dazu gehört die Auflösung des Spalts sowie des Hierarchiegefälles zwischen Zuschauer:innen und Akteur:innen, u. a. durch das Entwickeln eines gesellschaftlichen Prozessverständnisses für Transformations- und Co- Kreationsprozesse, Anbieten von Möglichkeitsräumen für Co- Kreation in Kunst, Politik, Wirtschaft, Planung, Zivilgesellschaft und Wissenschaft und die Anwendung in interdisziplinärer und transdisziplinärer Zusammenarbeit. NCC möchte das Gesellschaftsmosaik in seiner Vielfalt erreichen durch kontinuierliche und nachhaltige Kunstaufführungen und vice versa von ihm bereichert werden. Für die Erarbeitung unserer Themen und Stücke möchten wir uns unabhängig von sozialen Klassen, Bildungsschichten, Altersgruppen oder kulturellen Gruppierungen und Zuordnungen machen und ebenso frei gestalten in Bezug auf Stil, Ästhetik, Genre oder Format.
Unser Menschenbild
Wir glauben an Menschen, die ihre Gefühle und Emotionen vollumfänglich wahrnehmen und navigieren können und in radikaler Selbstverantwortung Entscheidungen treffen und handeln. Daher verabschieden wir uns als NCC auch von einer manipulativen bzw. eindeutigen Dramaturgie. Vielmehr laden die Stücke ein, gemeinsam unterschiedliche Wahrheiten zu entdecken und über tiefen Austausch Gemeinsamkeiten zu finden. NCC positioniert sich so für eine Individualität, die durch Authentizität und Transparenz verbindet. Unterschiedliche Hintergründe, Lebenserfahrungen, Kulturen und Interessen erzählen jedem Menschen seine ganz eigene Geschichte mit seiner ganz persönlichen Bedeutung und lässt das Kunstwerk dadurch vielfältig und multidimensional werden. Das regt zum Austausch darüber an und bietet die Chance, voneinander zu lernen und uns gegenseitig zu bereichern.
Wie wir kreieren
Als NCC definieren wir uns in erster Linie über unsere Herangehensweise und durch die Arbeit mit Unterscheidungen und Begrifflichkeiten aus der Spielwelt des Possibility Management. Darauf basierend kreieren wir frei hinsichtlich Stil, Ästhetik, Format, Genre für verschiedenste Zielgruppen, z. B. Tanzstücke für Blinde, altersübergreifendes Slowdating, immersiv-performative Installationen und vieles mehr.
Projektabhängig sind die Prozesse kollektiv, kollaborativ oder auch hierarchisch geleitet, unsere Arbeitsstruktur ist jedoch immer kollektiv/ kollaborativ. Diese Methoden nutzen wir auch, um Austausch- und Vermittlungsformate zu entwickeln, die fester Bestandteil unserer Aufführungen sind. Wir sind der Meinung, dass eine Kunstdarbietung nur dann wirklich landen und wirken kann, wenn sie zusammen mit anderen reflektiert und verarbeitet wird.
Wo wir verortet sind
Unsere Arbeiten finden im ländlichen sowie städtischen Raum statt, in Theatern und an Nicht-Theater-Orten und auch im Internet. So haben wir in Landau/ Pfalz in Ateliers, in Kirchen und auf Bühnen getanzt, in der Wüste Nevadas performt und auch in New Yorker Wohnzimmern. Auf der Homepage des creation doors dance theater findet man Formate zum selbst tanzen und einen Spaziergänge, um selbst performativ zu forschen.
What is Next Culture Performance?
Next Culture Performance is an international collective art movement that uses distinctions and maps from Possibility Management for its performances. It operates in the context of radical self-responsibility, exploring and experimenting while aiming to create 5-body performances that incorporate the physical, intellectual, emotional, energetic, and archetypal aspects of the individual. Performers delve into their own shadow world and let their bright principles act through them, telling personal legends and creating strong, emotional narratives that allow for intimacy between performers and recipients.
Next Culture Company
is the label for Next Culture Projects. Anyone who works under the principles of Next Culture Performance can use this label. The core principals of Next Culture Performance is constantly evolving through weekly research spaces that include experimentation – in art and daily business- feedback and coaching, and collegial exchange.
We are Next Culture Company
We are aiming to break down barriers in thinking, communication, and coexistence, and to build stable bridges for a meaningful and fulfilling life together. This includes breaking up the gap and hierarchy between performers and recipients by developing a societal understanding of transformation and co-creation processes and offering spaces for co-creation in art, politics, economy, planning, civil society, and science. The NCC wants to reach and be enriched by the diverse mosaic of society through continuous and sustainable art performances. In creating our themes and pieces, we strive to be independent from social classes, educational levels, age groups or cultural groups. And we demand to have freedom in style, aesthetics, genre, or format.
Our image of human beings
Our view of humanity is centered on individuals who can fully perceive and navigate their emotions and feelings, and who make and act on decisions based on radical self- responsibility. Therefore, NCC rejects a manipulative or clear dramaturgy and instead invites the audience to discover different truths and find commonalities through deep exchange. NCC positions itself for an individuality that connects through authenticity and transparency, with diverse backgrounds, experiences, cultures, and interests telling each person their unique story with personal significance. This stimulates exchange and offers the opportunity to learn from each other and enrich each other.
How we create
As NCC, we define ourselves primarily through our approach and through working with distinctions and terms from the game world of Possibility Management. Based on this, we create freely in terms of style, aesthetics, format, genre for a wide variety of target gropus, such as dance pieces for the blind, intergenerational slow dating, immersive- performative installations, and much more.
Depending on the project, the processes are led collectively, collaboratively or hierarchically, but the work structure is always collective/collaborative. We also use these methods to develop exchange and mediation formats that are an integral part of our performance. We believe that an art performance can only really land and have an effect if it is reflected and processed together with others.
Where we are located
Our work takes place in rural and urban areas, as well as in theaters and non-theater locations, and also on the Internet. So we danced in art studios and churches in rural areas of Germany, performed in the Nevada desert and in New York’s living rooms.
